Research and Musings around the amusement park world.
JungleLand is a new park set to open this year in Indonesia, The park is part of a massive new development and is due to open in phases. The first phase is the Carnival Zone which is essentially just a small selection of flat rides from Zamperla including a Disko and an Air Race. The rest of the park is still under construction and will feature several themed areas such as the Mysteria and Tropiclia Zones.
JungleLand, the brand new park currently being built in Indonesia has some new concept art. The pictures below show various sections of the park including a heavily themed coaster which looks like an El Loco. Although I suspect this is just one of those misleading bits of concept art but you never know. the rest of the park looks set to be extremely well themed and could end up to be a little gem of a park.

Indonesia is another country you don’t often associate with theme parks. Following the installation of the Premier Launched coaster last year the country is due to open a new park called JungleLand within the next year. The park is part of a huge new development featuring hotels, apartments and entertainment facilities all built in a forested location in Indonesia. Below are some early concept pictures showing including one for one of the two Zierer coasters due to be installed at the park. Construction is already underway but so far I’ve not uncovered any showing vertical construction in the park itself. More as and when I find it.

The small Premier Launched Coaster at Trans Studio Makassar in Indonesia has begun to take shape over the last few months. The ride is essentially a scaled down version of the Mr Freeze coasters at Six Flags in the US although the overbank turn before the spike has been scrapped in favour of a low slung corner.
Several Indonesian users have been following the rides progress on the Sky Scraper City forums. Here’s a selection of the most recent pictures.
