Jinling Happy World Construction Moves Ahead.

Jinling Happy World is yet another one of the many new parks springing up in China at the moment. The images below show how far construction has come over the last few months, Perhaps most tellingly though is there is still no sign of the 11 inversion coaster due to be built before the park opens later this year.

This is a little late but the new Vekoma Motorbike at the East China Mall is now open. The park itself has been given the brilliantly original name “Happy World”.

Hainan Space Theme Park to build new Spinning Coaster

Another new Chinese park has been announced and initial press releases talk of a large spinning coaster which will travel in and out of a giant dome meant to represent the sun. The park named Hainan space theme park is currently due to open in 2013 with construction beginning within the next few weeks. Below are a few concept images released with the press release.

Triumph Kingdom Releases Official Construction Shots.

I have reported a few times over the last year when Triumph Kingdom currently under construction in China has released their official construction shots. The latest batch released just a couple of days ago show many of the same rides as before with no sign of the expected Intamin Half-Pipe coaster. Good to see construction is still progressing though.

Chinese Gravity Group Wooden Coaster Begins Construction in Tianjin.

The 3rd Gravity Group coaster in China is being built at Happy Island in Tianjin. The park is owned by OCT, the same company that owns the successful Happy Valley chain of parks and will stand almost 110ft tall and 3924ft long. The currently unnamed ride is being constructed by Martin & Vleminckx who also constructed the Gravity Groups previous Chinese outings.

The new Triumph Kingdom park in China has released new photos of construction. The photos don’t show any new coasters but there are several new flat rides.
