Century Amusement Park Open Inverted Coaster.

China doesn’t really need more rip-off SLC’s but the latest one has opened at Century Amusement Park in Zhengzhou, I must admit the coaster as a pretty nice paint job but it features the same layout we’ve seen scores of times over the last couple of years.

Romon World Shows Off Model Of Park.

Romon World is one of the most exciting projects in China with two great looking coasters set to open in 2014. The park has shown off a great little model of the whole entertainment area including the mall, hotels and park. The project bears a striking resemblance to Lotte World in South Korea.  Below is a series of pictures of the model and a recent picture of the construction site.

Nitro At Adlabs Imagica Topped Off.

B&M Begins To Rise At Adlabs Imagica.

One of this years most interesting projects is the first major theme park in India, Adlabs Imagica. And the park looks to be making headway with their new B&M floorless coaster Nitro. The ride features a very similar layout to Batman: The Dark Knight at Six Flags New England although with a distinctively more Superman style paint job. Below is a photo of early construction as the lift hill begins to rise.

LocaJoy Holiday Construction.

While there is still no sign of the Intamin Looper’s arrival at LocaJoy holiday in China a number of other rides are now up and testing. The pictures below show a number of these including the Golden Horse invert and kiddie coasters and a series of flat rides. It should only be a matter of time until the Intamin goes up too, Although I think I said that about Vialand so who knows?

Adlabs Imagica Opens & Nitro Layout Revealed.

Indians first world class park Adlabs Imagica has opened outside of Mumbai. The park has been covered a fair amount on here and features a nice collection of rides including a Zamperla mine train and Premier launched coaster. The B&M Floorless named Nitro has not opened with the park but it appears track is on site so I assume opening will be later this year. There is a virtual image of Nitro below which confirms it will be a near clone of Batman The Dark Knight over at Six Flags New England just with an extra helix at the end.

Below are a selection of pictures from the opening.

New Videos Of B&M’s New Steel Dragon 2000 Trains.

One of this years biggest surprises so far has been the introduction of B&M built trains which appeared on Steel Dragon 2000 at Nagashima Spaland in Japan, These new trains feature 2 across seating and some interesting safety enhancements with new leg restraints and a seatbelt. Whatever you think of those additions the trains certainly look the part and below are two new videos of them in action.
